Social Media Manager

Clean Plates, a food-first wellness company focused on helping our audience discover what healthy looks like for them and building a happier, healthier relationship with food, is looking for a Social Media Manager.

The Social Media Manager will report directly to and work closely with the Content Director to develop and execute a social media growth strategy for all social platforms.

The ideal candidate will have interest in and familiarity with food, nutrition, and wellness and 2-5 years experience managing social media for a similar size brand and/or their own social media platforms. On-camera experience is a plus.

Tasks and Responsibilities
- Write daily posts for all social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest
- Monitor and engage with the brand’s followers and community across platforms
- Maintain cross-platform and platform-specific editorial calendar for social media content
- Work with Content Director to create original social-first content for both organic and sponsored content
- Work with Content Director to execute a social media growth strategy for key platforms that drives traffic to the site and extends the reach and awareness of the brand
- Monitor metrics and continually optimize tactics to meet goals
- Learn from competitors’ social presences, identify new opportunities, and leverage best practices

Skills

Excellent copywriting skills
Experience using Later, Tailwind, and other social scheduling tools
Experience using Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Chartbeat, Curalate, Crowd Tangle, and other analytics tools
Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and willingness to work outside of standard business hours, if needed

$30-$50 per hour, depending on experience, 15-20 hours per week to start
