JOB DESCRIPTION
Divya’s Kitchen is an East Village Vegetarian/Vegan restaurant, running for 5 years, and an outgrowth of the culinary school, Bhagavat Life.

Divya’s Kitchen is seeking an experienced manager who is ready to lead our business and our team. The ideal candidate works well in a fast-paced environment, responds quickly and positively to any challenge, and is willing to think outside the box to support our team and grow our community. You will connect our kitchen and service teams, be the face of Divya’s Kitchen to our guests and our neighborhood, and help provide an amazing experience to both our staff and our guests. A background in wellness is desired but not required.

EXPERIENCE + SKILLS REQUIRED

  • 2+ years’ experience in fast-paced NYC restaurants, management experience preferred (Alternative demonstrable leadership experience considered)

  • Strong food + beverage knowledge

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • A passion for both sharing healthful food and maintaining a mindful working environment

  • A positive, can-do mindset

COMPENSATION

  • $70K+ based on experience
