WE’RE HIRING! Busy Bee Organics is looking for a Part-Time OR Full-Time Cook to join us on weekends!

About Us: Busy Bee Organics is an established, unique meal delivery company and cafe local to Jersey City and Hoboken. With a staff of nutrition professionals and natural food chefs (NGI alumni), our fully prepared meals are designed with your health and busy schedule in mind. Busy Bee was established in 2014 and focuses on making your life easier through “peace of mind” organic, nutrient-dense ingredients meant to help you power through your day. All of our meals are plant based, gluten-free and dairy-free and support all of your unique dietary needs. Our cafe offers a peaceful, cozy environment for our local residents. A place to connect, enjoy and nourish yourself with an array of menu options including light bites, breakfast, lunch, teas, sips, and healing elixirs, and a sweet treat from our bakery.

Job Description:

  • Prepare orders for takeout and dine in(outside).

  • Ensuring the highest quality products and services are delivered to our customers.*

*The person applying for this position must have excellent in cooking in fast paced environment and be able to multitask extremely well. They should be able to make decisions independently be very organized, reliable and friendly.

Required Skills:

  • 2 Years experience (minimum) in the restaurant industry OR recent Culinary school graduate. Passion for nutrition and healthy food is a plus!

  • Must be a team player with a positive attitude. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be a part of a growing small business.

Start Date: Available for immediate hire.

Job Type: Part-time or Full-time opportunity

Salary range: Hourly rate commensurate with experience.
