Chef David Bouley’s newest concept is looking for GUEST RELATIONS MANAGER position. He/She is the first and last point of contact with the guest and is responsible for greeting, seating and saying goodbye to guests as well as maintaining the flow of the restaurant during service. He/She will collaborate with the Front Desk team to ensure a smooth and seamless communication with the service and culinary teams. Will also take and confirm reservations over the phone, retrieve messages and return phone calls in a clear, concise and accurate manner. Ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience as a guest relations manager or fine dining host/hostess, knowledge of In-House Reservation Systems (ie SevenRooms and OpenTable) and works well with a team with flexibility of schedule. Looking for someone that exudes hospitality and guest relations with an eye for detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organization methods and an ability to multitask in high pressure situations. 

As a Guest Relations Manager, you should be an excellent communicator who can stay positive and calm in all situations. You should also be reliable and customer-oriented, as you’ll serve as the primary point of contact for our customers. Your goal will be to ensure our guests feel welcomed, enjoy their experience and look forward to coming back again soon!

Essential Duties 

  • Make and cancel reservations

  • Make same day confirmation calls 

  • Fulfill VIP request 

  • Proof same day and next day reservations to revise notes, find /solve problems 

  • Assist Management team with various projects

  • Welcoming clients as they arrive and escorting them to their tables

  • Offer stellar customer service and provide memorable experience for our guests

Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a Guest Relations Manager, Fine Dining Hostess or similar role.

  • 1+ years' of hospitality or customer service experience.

  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to resolve issues in a timely and accurate manner. 

Ultimately, you will manage guest services and uphold the Bouley brand by answering guests’ requests and ensuring our clients are satisfied.
