JOB DESCRIPTION
Campbell & Co. is looking for good people to join our kitchen team and help us grow our baked goods program. We recently added espresso to our café offerings and are very excited to add on a new part-time baker to our team.

We love to share the stories of our makers, from the rooftop farmers growing heirloom tomatoes that overlook the Manhattan skyline to the cheesemakers aging provolone below the streets of Brooklyn. Our cheese case features more than 100 carefully-curated domestic and imported cheeses. Our beer and cider selection is just as large and unique – we love sour beers and we hope you do too! The Campbell & Co. kitchen and catering program utilizes the best ingredients from the season to create sandwiches, salads, breakfast biscuits, cheese boards, desserts, and more. Over the years we’ve worked hard to earn a devoted following and are known as much for our warm and friendly customer service as our products (our breakfast biscuits are legendary!).

Campbell & Co. started out five years ago as Campbell Cheese & Grocery, a family-run neighborhood specialty store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We are in the process of expanding our catering department – an exciting time for our business. We are looking for a Baker to help us as we move into more high volume production. We pride ourselves on having a thoughtful, respectful team and do our best to maintain a supportive, low-stress work environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
-Early morning shifts which involve baking fresh biscuits daily as well as other baked goods.
-Preparation and packaging of house-made items (chia puddings, yogurt parfaits, mousses, etc.).
-Hi volume production of baked goods for catering.
-Maintain a clean kitchen daily with regular deep cleans.
-Additional duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
-Baking experience required.
-Passion and enthusiasm for food and baking.
-A friendly and kind approach.
-A true team player with a willingness to jump in to help with all tasks.
-A reliable self starter and hard worker.
-Thrive in a fast-paced environment while working clean.
-An exceptional attention to detail and ability to multi task.
-Ability to work early mornings--most shifts are 6am, but can start as early as 4am in busy weeks.
-Able to stand for long hours at a time and lift heavy objects.
-Weekend availability.
-NYC Food Handler License
-Able to work 20-30 hours a week, with flexible scheduling.
