Looking for someone to take over my full time position as a private chef to a positive upbeat family of 5 with a few extra staff members. You are a person who is flexible, resilient and adaptable in changing situations and have the ability to travel occasionally with the family. They are based in Brooklyn but due to Covid will be staying out at their family farm in Hopewell, New Jersey indefinitely. They homeschool their kids (two 11 year old twins and an 8 year old) which allows them to travel to Costa Rica during the winter months. Travel to CR may range anywhere from 3 week short trips to 5+ month stays. They spend the summer months in Nantucket, MA. Most other travel is not usually required. Ideally you have a positive, low key attitude and are skilled in creating health supportive cuisine. You would be in charge of cooking two meals/day 5 days/week usually lunch and dinner with some flexibility and are able to maintain high level sanitary practices. You know how to source high quality ingredients and are able create delicious, healthy, plant forward (although they are not vegetarian), comforting and nourishing meals that cater to a wide range of palates.
