Nouri is a stage-specific meal program to help expecting mothers improve fertility, manage pregnancy symptoms and provide the best for baby by using proven Ancient Eastern therapeutic ingredients. OB-GYN recommended, chef & nutritionist curated and delivered ready-to-eat in NYC.

Within the year, we are expanding to provide a broader women’s health meal plan focused on Traditional Chinese Medicine practices, and CPG versions of our snacks, broths and teas.

Positions:

Head Chef

Looking for a Head Chef to grow with Nouri. Immediately, Head Chef will help with recipe testing, weekly production (currently on Mondays) and oversee kitchen staff. Over time, she/he will work with the two founders on new concepts and expansion. We are open to negotiating the role for the right person.

Kitchen operations are at Nimbus on LES We have 3 part-time experienced line cooks and delivery drivers. Head Chef is expected to be there on Mondays to start, and other shifts may be rotated in coverage. Likely to expand operational days over next few months.

Potential Shifts:

  • 12:30-530PM hours on Sundays (flexible timing)

  • 8:30am-6PM Mondays (10 hrs)

in a couple weeks
Thursdays/Fridays (flexible timing ~ 8hrs)

Compensation
Starting part-time hourly ($22-25/hr commensurate with experience paid cash), with opportunity for equity ownership in the company. Ideally will grow with the company.

Moving to 1099 in the new year.

Line Cook

Work with the team on Sundays 12:30-6pm/Mondays 8:30-6pm at Nimbus Kitchen on Lower East Side for weekly production and packaging. Possibllity for expansion of hours on Thursdays/Fridays. Meals are mainly vegan with some animal protein involved.

Compensation is $18-$20 cash DOE.

Moving to 1099 in New Year.
